In September 2025, IdentifAi successfully closed its € 5.000.000,00 Series A funding round, led by United Ventures SGR SpA through its funds “United Ventures III” and “United Ventures III Lombardia”, an initiative by the Lombardy Region that supports the growth and development of highly innovative tech startups with strong technological innovation potential.
The funding is intended to support the company’s international expansion and the further development of its AI platform.
IdentifAi vision is to uphold the fundamental human right to discern whether content is generated by artificial intelligence or crafted by human hands.
IdentifAi develops advanced AI-powered solutions for deepfake detection and content authenticity, built on a rigorous, end-to-end "security by design" approach. Our technology ensures exceptional levels of cybersecurity, data integrity, and reliability for enterprises - from startups to global organisations.
IdentifAi’s technology is fully designed, developed, and engineered in Italy. To develop its technology, IdentifAi received an investment of € 2.270.164,00 from the parallel fund United Ventures III Lombardia, managed by United Ventures SGR S.p.A., using resources from the Lombardia Venture fund. This forms part of a total investment of € 4.540.328,00 between the main fund and the parallel fund, with additional investors bringing the overall investment to € 5.000.000,00 (including the main fund, the parallel fund, and other investors).
The fund is co-financed by the Lombardy Region through the FESR Regional Programme (PR FESR) 2021–2027.
